Through Music, I was able to conquer the silence. It was no longer a threat to my existence, but an inspiration to achieve. I realized...I can sing, even if I was to lose all of my hearing, because music doesn't come from our ears, it comes from our heart and soul.
After graduating college, I earned my Cosmetology Degree and Managing Business License in the Wild, Wonderful State of WV.
I write children's stories, novels, poetry, short stories, and song lyrics. I own three professional demos for original lyrics. My poetry has been published to private collections, and I received an achievement award for my Poem,"The Soldier" The painting and poem sold in 2005 and dedicated to Fort Carson USA.
I have worked wigs and wardrobe for theatrical productions like Grease, Seussical the Musical, Kiss Me Kate, and much more. I've worked with Bernie Ardia of Las vegas. After college, I applied make-up and styled hair for Glamour Photo Shoots in the tri-state area. Since 2005, I've been selling my Original Art online, via eBay, imagekind, cafepress, hometown art gallery, overstock, and my own website.
In 2006, I was nominated for the Best in Art and Creativity Award by the World of Art Magazine WOAA and earned eBay Powerseller.
I was nominated for inclusion into the 2007-2008 "Honors Edition" of the Cambridge Who's Who Among Professional and Executive Women.
